First-Ever Blockchain-Based CS:Go Live Tournament Announced by Exeedme
As per the latest reports, Exeedme has just announced that it will be hosting a tournament for one of the most popular shooting games “CS:GO”. Exeedme is a gaming platform that is powered by non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and decentralized finance (DeFi).

It was back in January 2021, when Exeedme confirmed that it had successfully conducted the competition for beta testing. While making the announcement, the firm had confirmed that it will be releasing the original platform for the tournaments on February 28, 2021.

It has been confirmed that there will be 8 different blockchain networks that will be taking each other head-on in order to compete in the tournament. The officials have confirmed that the tournament is going to go for 3 weeks.

The criteria for the tournament is that the blockchains have to have teams representing them. Each team must have 5 members who will act as the community or project members.
On top of that, the entry fee in order to participate in the tournament is $200. So whichever team wishes to be a part of the tournament, it will be required to make a deposit of $200 in the form of their native currency.
The final prize for the team scoring the highest would be $2,000, and it would serve as a prize pool for the winning player.
Apart from the prize money of $2,000, the winning team will also be receiving 5 unique and special digital artwork in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
