A survey containing findings based upon 4K individuals being interviewed has been published in Singapore revealing the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the region. Survey reveals Ethereum to be the most popular cryptocurrencies of them all while Bitcoin and Cardano secure 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

Places like Hong Kong and Singapore are known amongst the top crypto-friendly places in the world. The love of the people living therein towards virtual assets and currencies is incomparable to anyone. There have been innumerable surveys with regard to cryptocurrencies going on in both places. However, a survey regarding the most demanded cryptocurrencies in Singapore has recently been concluded and findings published.

The survey was conducted by three independent survey firms called Coinmarketcap, Seedly, and Gemini. The findings of the survey were accordingly issued on the 17th of August, 2021.

It was informed by the surveyors that they had interviewed about 4,348 individuals who were all adults. Particularly, the surveyed people were from the working class doing jobs on a monthly salary basis. The survey aimed at asking people over the ages of 18 up to 65 as to which cryptocurrency they prefer. It started on 29th June 2021 and was completed after ten days on 9th July 2021. The survey also reflected that out of these 4,348 respondents, about 2,862 were those who owned cryptocurrencies. While the rest of the survey people i.e. 1,486 were those individuals who did not own any cryptocurrencies. However, they were fully aware of the cryptocurrencies and which crypto was the most highly valued. Interestingly, out of every five respondents, one respondent was female.

Based on the survey, the preceding findings were highlighted in the final survey report.

At least 78% of people out of 2,862 individuals, who were crypto owners, told the teams that they held Ethereum coins. 69% of them were those who were told that they are Bitcoin owners. Similarly, there were people about 40%, 31%, and 25% who claimed that they own Cardano, BNB of Binance, and Ripple’s XRP respectively. This clearly shows that the top most popular cryptocurrency is none but Ethereum. While the world’s highly valued crypto, and in fact the first-ever crypto, was able to secure the second position after Ethereum. Similarly, the third, fourth, and fifth places have been secured by Cardano, BNB, and XRP respectively.

In addition, the findings also reveal that most of the crypto owners surveyed had multiple cryptocurrencies in their ownership. This shows how well-positioned are the people living in Singapore when the matter concerns the adoption of virtual currencies.

The survey then went on to describe the next three most popular cryptocurrencies in Singapore securing positions from 6th to 8th. At number six after Ripple was Tether, followed by DOT i.e. Polkadot and LINK of Chainlink.

Amongst women, their preferred crypto was and could be Ethereum and then Bitcoin, if the funds are available, claimed women respondents.
